Hi! My name is Brody and I’m a 2-3 year old, 51-pound male Retriever/Pointer mix.
I am house broken but not crate trained. I am very sweet, happy, and gentle. I get
along great with other dogs. I currently have a 34lb Border Collie foster brother and
a 24 lb beagle/terrier mix foster sister that I love to play with, so I am good with
dogs smaller than me. I haven’t shown any signs of aggression at all. Even when I
ran into a dog at the vet that growled and snapped at me, I just kept on wagging my
tail and being happy. I like to run around in the backyard and sniff and occasionally
chase the tennis ball. I can sit, shake, and beg (for a treat). I do fine on a leash. I
love riding in the car! My favorite toy is a tennis ball. I like to shake it and chomp it
and I will chase it (but I won’t bring it back). I can be left out in the house to roam
freely while my foster parents are at work and I do great! I don’t chew up anything
or mess in the house. If I am crated, I won’t tear anything up but I will
howl/bark/whine the entire time I am in the crate. It makes me very nervous to be
crated. My original owners moved and couldn’t take me with them so they
abandoned me at a shelter. I am looking for a loving forever home who will
appreciate how sweet and gentle I am and won’t abandon me!
