Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Easy going Rosie is ready to find her forever home. This sweet little lady was found as a stray in 2010, adopted from the shelter and then brought in as a stray again in 2016. No one ever came looking for her. We do not understand how this perfect little dog ended up homeless twice! Her exact breed is a mystery, but some guesses have included Corgi, Basset Hound, Chihuahua, Pug! Whatever she is, she's the perfect mix of awesome. Rosie is quiet, sweet, housebroken, good with kids and dogs. She is the total, perfect senior package! She loves sleeping in a bed next to her people or curling up in a dog bed in the corner. She is always pleasantly surprised when anyone gives her attention and loves to receive belly rubs and chin scratches. Rosie recently had senior bloodwork done, a dental cleaning and a small mass removed from her eye! She is a healthy gal ready to find her retirement home. Rosie has some arthritis in her back legs, but has no issue getting around and does not currently need medication. She never seemed to learn how to go up and down stairs and will wait at the stairs to be carried up and down.
Make your life even Rosie-r with this little lady! If you are interested in Rosie, please complete an application which can be found at www.seniordoghaven.org under the adoption process tab. If you have any questions, email info@seniordoghaven.org.
