Sweet and timid, Carolina really wants to be your friend, but she’s just not sure how to do that. In her foster home, she likes to be near enough to people to see what they are doing as long as she knows an escape route. Treats and patience go a long way in gaining her trust. Carolina’s ideal family will be willing to let Carolina warm up at her own pace and give her time to learn to trust. She does well with other dogs and may learn to trust people more quickly if she has a doggy sibling to support her. If your heart goes out to those dogs that need a little extra TLC, come meet Carolina and see if you can be her knight in shining armor.
