My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HUBBARD is a 3 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 54 pounds. Hubbard is a super sweet, smaller boy. He is a favorite of the vet staff and is being a very good boy. He loves to play and loves toys! He does pull some on leash and we are working on that. However, he has great manners in his run and just loves to be loved on. Hubbard is a good rider too. More as we move him to foster ! Hubbard is keeping his run clean at the vet and is well behaved. He is good with other dogs. We don't have cat history on him but he is curious of the vet cats but easily redirected. Hubbard is a stray to the shelter. He is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update: Hubbard truly is the perfect dog. He rides beautifully in the car and walks well on a leash (although he does need some work with not pulling). He happily let his foster bathe him, brush his teeth and clean his ears. His coat is amazingly thick and shiny with a beautiful wave all down his back. He sleeps through the night uncrated without incident, and although he loves attention and affection, he does not demand it. He is a little shadow, quietly following me around then laying down at my feet. He gets along well with other dogs. Hubbard does not beg for food, but rather watches attentively without interfering or drooling. He likes to play with toys and will retrieve and return with a bounce in his step. He is a healthy and happy little guy…sweet, gentle, and ready for a forever home. Whoever opens their heart to Hubbard will be blessed to have him.
