Sasha's Story...
"Hi everyone! My name is Sasha and for the past few months I've been staying with my super nice Foster Parents! I love to snuggle up close on the couch and I follow them everywhere they go. My foster mom gives me really soft blankies to nap with. I fall asleep with them in my mouth and between my paws just like a baby. We go on lots of walks and I really enjoy it! Sometimes when we are walking in new places I get so excited I start to pull but I am much calmer in my own yard. I love when company comes over! Meeting new people is so much fun. I make sure everyone that comes into the house gets a proper sniff and kiss and then I go back to lounging. I am very tolerant of humans, even small kids. I'm not much of a barker and horns and doorbells don't phase me. I don't like to be left alone much but I'm making really good progress and Foster Mom says she's proud of me :) . She keeps saying my furrever home is out there somewhere. I sure hope they come soon! As much as I love it here with these nice humans, I'm ready to be home."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Glocester Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Glocester, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Glocester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glocester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glocester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glocester paves the way for another one to be saved.
