Egon and Tully's Story...
Egon and Tully
Tully (beighe and white with the right side of his face being white), and Egon (beige and white with a lightning bolt blae) were surrendered to us 2/29/16. They are male intact short haired rats born around 4/29/15. Egon and Tully are a little shy but they all warm up once they get to know you. They love chewing on their apple tree limbs and cuddling together. They are a bonded pair and need to stay together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Egon and Tully, a Germantown Rat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Rat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat breeders who help with Rat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
