Sunshine's Story...
Sunshine is one of the favorites at our shelter. With her outgoing and sweet demeanor Sunshine will definitely win over your heart as well. Sunshine was initially found as a stray, and then brought to the shelter on 4-26-16 since she had kittens! Sunshine cared for her kittens diligently and was finally weaned from them on 5-12-16 when her babies were 10 weeks old. Sunshine would fit well into any home, but takes time to adjust to new places. Could you give our ray of sunshine a new home? Sunshine is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunshine, a South Haven Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
