Lexi is a shy girl. But her tail is almost always wagging! She is very affectionate and loves attention. She's a good-natured girl who's playful but content to chill and relax as well. Unfamiliar places are still scary, and Lexi is timid when meeting new people, but she is gaining confidence each day. In her foster home, Lexi is pretty much the perfect pooch, but she will need time to feel comfortable in a new home. She is crate-trained and housebroken.

Lexi is looking for a quiet home (no kids under 12 years) with someone who will help her build confidence using positive reinforcement ONLY. Previous experience with shy dogs a plus. If frightened, her instinct is to flee (and she also enjoys chasing squirrels!) so she needs a securely fenced yard (6 foot) or taken out on leash. She would likely jump a 4 foot fence. She would enjoy a doggie companion, but rambunctious dogs can overwhelm her. She is NOT a dog park dog. A calm or playful but respectful dog of similar size would be a good match. Lexi and her foster brother have become best friends and play every chance they get. She's an awesome girl looking for an awesome home.

Shy yet charming canine searching for patient owner with relaxed lifestyle. Looking for gentle guidance to help me come out of my shell. Treat me sweet and kind and I'll blossom.
