  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Meow, meow, my name is Gizmo. I am a female, adult cat. My birth date is approximately 9/5/11. Here is some words from my previous owner that had to surrender me for personal reasons: I call her Gizzy. Poor thing has a twisted foot and limped all around the house, but that never slowed her down from climbing the cat tree. These girls are mean so much to as they have been my companion, my babies for the last four years. Each girl has her own unique personality.
Gizzy loves her independence! She will find the highest perch to relax on and just watch. She like to sit on the outside of the action and just observe. Her favorite thing to do is jump under the sheets as your making the bed and place catch with your hand. She decides when she wants to show love and when she does its the best snuggles ever!
If you would like to meet me, please contact Wild Blue to set up an appointment. Also, if you would like to get pre-approved to adopt, please go to the Wild Blue Website ( and submit an online application. When adopting a Wild Blue adult cat it will be current on vaccinations, it will be spay/neutered, and micro-chipped.

About Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(C)(3) rescue organization in the Colorado Springs area. We are committed to the No Kill philosophy and we hope to help El Paso County become a No Kill region. We currently only house cats and kittens.

We are strong believers in and supporters of spay/neuter programs, Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR), and the Human-Animal Connection.

We are always in need of volunteers, and especially Foster Homes! We welcome your support!

Come Meet Our Pets...

You may see our wonderful kitties at our facility by appointment. Please contact Lauri or Allison for an appointment at (719) 213-1127. Please send an email and we'll try to respond as quickly as possible.

We also take a selected few of our pets to adoption fairs each week. We are at the PetCo at Union and Powers (Prominent Pt) from noon to 4PM on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month and the PetCo on N. Nevada (University Village shopping area) on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays. Some of our animals are a bit shy, or can get stressed at such locations, though, so we like to show them at our location when we can.

Thank you for supporting the animals!
