Missy's Story...
This is a courtesy post for Missy's owner

Missy is a 2 year old Feist who came from a kill shelter in Georgia.., she is completely house broken and knows commands. She is great on and off leash. Missy loves the dog park, running and hiking. She had a lot of energy and a backyard would suit her well. If a yard isn't possible but three walks a day including an hour of exercise is all she needs. She is extremely loyal and a cuddle bug. And she will certainly cuddle. She loves chew toys and some treats when she's being trained...SHE IS HOUSE BROKEN AND NEUTERED...her breed The Feist is uncommon in the US and is recognized by the UK Kennel Association.. George Washington and Abraham Lincoln both reference feists often. (If anyone wanted to research) however the breed is really seen in the south if at all... She is a hunting breed do she dies sniff everything out. She also doesn't particularly take to older women (60 and over)
Missy doesn't like cats... And maybe a little too playful for children under 8. She sits well at home and only gets jumpy when she doesn't get out like she needs. I will be available more than likely if her family needs a sitter for vacations etc... I would love to still be s part of her life after she is rehomed so hopefully her future parent/parents will allow me to visit...
Please contact Tatiana if you are interested in adopting Missy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Roslyn Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist for sale in Roslyn, or seeking a Feist dog from a breeder in Roslyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roslyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roslyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist breeders who help with Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roslyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
