Stanley's Story...
Stanley is moving to adoptable. Believe it or not this little pup has a calm energy which can be unusual for a herding breed. He's about a year old. Stanley is shy and cautious at first so he needs a home that will allow him time to adjust, maybe a home that's quiet although kids would be fine. He's good with dogs and cats. Someone will be lucky to have him. He's about a year old, will be neutered and has his shots /microchip. To meet Stanley contact Lori at Adoption fee $195 covers his vet cost and a small amount goes to us to help with vet bills as needed

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stanley, a Reno Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Reno, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Reno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reno paves the way for another one to be saved.
