Abby is the sweetest, most loving tortoiseshell DSH girl whom her foster mom has ever seen. She gets along great with the other cats in her foster home and enjoys the high perch on the cat tree.
Abby has had quite a lot of adventure packed into her short life, She was born in March 2015 and was adopted as a kitten through Buster's Friends in July. Who knows what happened in the 11-month interim, but somehow she ended up living in a feral colony in June 2016. She was trapped and taken to the vet to be "fixed" with the idea of releasing her back with her feral buddies. The vet routinely notched her ear, the universal sign of an altered feral cat. Since she behaved more like a pet-gone-stray than a feral kitty, the vet decided to scan her for a microchip. To his surprise, he discovered that Abby was microchipped AND already spayed. Her chip was traced back to have been purchased by Buster's Friends, who gladly picked her up and returned her to her original foster home.
After all that has happened to Abby in her short year of life, she is still a sweet, affectionate, gentle kitty with lots of love to give. She needs a new loving family who will keep her securely indoors and give her lots of love, which she will return many times over.
Abby is ready to start the rest of her life with that new family. Since she is so well socialized and such a happy cat, there is nothing stopping her from embarking on a whole new charmed life this time around! Won't you be that special family who is mesmerized by Abby's sweetness?
