Gracie's Story...
If you're looking for a truly loving, well-rounded pup, Gracie just may be your girl! She is 7 months old and weighs around 45-50 lbs. She is absolutely stunning and everyone always tells her how beautiful she is! She rides excellent in the car and will sit in the seat like a perfect lady while she looks out the window. She is house trained and is used to going in and out of the doggy door as she pleases. She plays excellent with other dogs her size or bigger, and is fine with cats. She may be too big to play with very small dogs, but she gets along with them fine.

She loves her toys and she is very motivated by treats. She loves everyone she meets and has never met a stranger! She loves being outside and we believe a fenced yard is a must for Gracie. She is fostered indoors only, but loves a good play in the yard when it isn't too hot outside. She walks great on a leash, and she is just all-in-all a fantastic companion! She would be great to take for runs, hikes, etc... We believe she will fit in great with most any family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Norwich Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Norwich, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Norwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
