My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Costello is a 2yr old, ~45lb , Chow/Shep mix. He was found as a stray and was saved hours before he was scheduled to be killed for space in a NC shelter. Costello knows some basic obedience including sit, down, stay, and is working on loose leash walking. This boy is housebroken and crate trained. He loves people and has been excellent with the other dogs in his foster home. He is currently in Board in Train where he has been exposed to 30+ dogs (supervised) and has been great with all of them. Costello has the very physical and mouthy play style typical of Chows so he would do best in a home with a dog comfortable with physical play. He would also do best in a home with kids 10+ because he sometimes wants to play too rough and needs supervision. Costello requires a home with an active family that enjoys the outdoors so he can tag along or that prefers to stick close to home and give him the attention that he craves. He is VERY sweet, loves to give kisses, and enjoys a good butt scratch. <3 He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines with an adoption fee of $275.
