Buster's Story...
Hello~ My name is Buster and I am a 7 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix. I am a very friendly to people and love attention. I have not found a stranger yet. I am currently in training with Puppies for Parole in Cameron MO and I am learning all kinds of new skills. I know how to sit, stay, lay down and recall where I come when I am off leash. I am also kennel trained and house trained. I am dog selective but I do have a few friends that I have play with here. I really like smaller dogs or puppies but if you do have a friend for me....I would really need to meet them prior to going home with you. I am done with my training and I am a very polite dog. I am patiently waiting for my a family to come along and make me a permanent member of their family. A forever home!!

If you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog or if you have any questions please feel free to contact our volunteer Kathy Zipp at chattyz@hotmail.com or contact her at 816-752-2295. We will try to respond back as quickly as we can but all of our staff or volunteers also work. Thank you

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Cameron Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Cameron, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cameron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cameron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cameron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cameron paves the way for another one to be saved.
