** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume.
WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE.
Brewster aka Bruno is about 5 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 17 lbs. Bruno was adopted at 6 months old and his owner became homeless and he and Bruno have been living on the streets for about 2 yrs. His owner was arrested and surrendered him back. He is in a foster home currently.
News from his foster: Meet BRUNO! He’s a 17 pound fun, bouncy, bundle of energy. He’s timid and a bit nervous around strangers. But, once he feels safe, he warms right up and is very sweet and funny. He’s good with my small dogs and loves to play with Sugar and the toys. (He likes to “hide” his favorite toys). When he wants to play he’ll start doing “Zoomies” around the house. He would be good with other small playful dogs. He’s not been around children or large dogs while I’ve had him, so don’t know how he would be with either. He does not like to be picked up, so would need teens only in the home. He is not good with cats.
He a good eater but protective of his food. He seems to understand “sit” and “stay” and is very good to come when you call his name. When he wants your attention he “talks” with a little squeak in his throat. He loves a good cuddle and belly scratches. His favorite thing, besides playing, is sleeping right next to his human and under the covers. He needs to work on potty training. He’s affection and food motivated, so any additional training should be easy to accomplish with time and patience. More will be known about me soon.
A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet.
If you are interested in Brewster aka Bruno, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event.
This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies.
