My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pookie is our super sweet senior male! We believe he is Pekingese mixed with Cocker Spaniel. He's bigger than most Pekes are because he weighs in at 25 pounds.

He is about 10 years old. He is still active and playful. Pekingese are known to live 18 or more years, so this little man has a lot of life and love left in him. He loves to play with toys and to spend time outside. He enjoys to go potty outside. This little boy is happy-go-lucky and seems to be easily pleased. Loves to spend time with other dogs too. He comes when called and knows several basic commands.

He is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. He has been groomed and treated with flea and heartworm preventative. He also had a check up while at the vet. He does have a grade 3 heart murmur, but it does not require medication.
