Gracie's Story...
What a lovely girl! Miss Gracie is a 1 year old Labrador Retriever mix ready for a new leash on life! She is such a sweet, energetic young girl, and will win you over in no time! She is a smart girl, and needs a family that can give her exercise and mental stimulation to keep her from becoming bored. She will need a home with a no-climb fence as she has quite the talent for climbing chain link fencing! She hasn't been in our care long, but has been doing great with her housetraining. She of course may need a few reminders in her new home though. She has loved playing with her roommate who is about her same size, and should be happy to have a canine friend in her new home. Gracie has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Benbrook Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
