Skittles has been paralyzed for over 3 years. Her previous owners made her a custom wheelchair with all terrain tires and she loves to run while in her chair. Currently she wears a diaper which I change a minimum of four times a day because she does not have control. She is very loving and sweet only barks when something warranted and then is very quiet. She absolutely will not jump up on the furniture! In fact due to her disability! she should not be put on furniture and left alone because she cannot control a dissent. Skittles has been around children and does very well with them although she does like to take a minute with a stranger before having them grab her, she doesn't snap but she will yelp if you surprise her. We love this dog's spirit and would like to find her a home that will accept her for who she is and give her the love and attention she deserves.
This great dog is all ready for a new home! The adoption donation of $200.00 pays for this dog's medical care & also contributes to the medical care needed by other dog's that come into our rescue. (some dogs need hundreds of dollars worth of care to make them adoptable) Why purchase a dog for hundreds of dollars (that still needs vaccinations & neutering & microchip) when you can get this darling dog that already has everything and help other dogs at the same time??? Every life is precious! Thank you for your support.
