Faith's Story...
Up for adoption: Faith.
She can be adopted in Texas.

Faith is a beautiful and really sweet girl that is finally ready to find her forever family. She has a sad past, but it didn't break her. Her foster mom caught her under a bridge in the middle of nowhere. She was dumped and very terrified. It took her foster mom a little while to coax her to come close, she was starving and decided finally to trust. Once she was at home with her foster family, and five foster brothers and sisters, she flourished. She finally knew what love was and she really liked it. It seriously doesn't get any sweeter and affectionate than Faith.

Faith is around two years old, fully vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. She loves other dogs, cats and children. She is about 60 lbs.

Faith is house broken and crate trained, although she has proven herself trustworthy to not need a crate. She knows how to sit, does not jump and I've yet to hear her bark. She loves retrieving, and can play with a ball for hours. She also loves to swim. She is a very genuinely sweet girl that is so good. She would make the perfect addition!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
