Magellin's Story...
Hi! My name is Magellin! I am traveling to Wisconsin on August 28th.

Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt:

Meet Magellin. This little guy is only one of two survivors out of a litter of 6. Magellin lives up to his name, he is a little explorer. This little 4 month old guy is sweet and lovable and just full of curiosity about everything. His foster mom is working on that potty training thing and teaching him all his puppy manners! He would love to become a member of your family.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

A spay/neuter contract is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magellin, a Fort Atkinson Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
