Oorah's Story...
Oorah is a 4 year old, 67 pound retired racing Greyhound. This tall, handsome man has to be one of the friendliest greys I have ever met…and I’ve met lots! Oorah has a ton of affection to give and wants nothing more than to follow you around and love on you at every chance. He just seems to smile all day as if he knows his racing life is over and there’s a wonderful family waiting for him! This boy will snuggle and kiss as long as you let him! Please stop by to snuggle with this little love bug. His racing name was Pat C Hooraw.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oorah, a West Palm Beach Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in West Palm Beach, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in West Palm Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Palm Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Palm Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Palm Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
