Carmella's Story...
A GENEROUS DONOR HAS PAID THE ADOPTION FEE FOR THIS CAT IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO ADOPT HER!

Carmella is a beautiful orange female cat who recently had a litter of five. Her kittens were one week old when she was rescued and have since found homes through Stray Cat Blues. It is now her turn!

Carmella is very friendly and loves to be petted! She is very calm and laid back. She loves to be around her foster mom. She is approximately one to two years old. She uses both the scratching post and scratching board. She readily adjusts to her living quarters and can easily be picked up and nothing seems to frighten her.

She is up to date on all her shots. Spayed, microchipped and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Please adopt her!

Carmella was recently diagnosed with food allergies. She is currently on a special diet of grain free dry food. We can give you information about what food we have been feeding her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmella, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
