Lincoln's Story...
Meet sweet Lincoln. e is 2 years old.He is an active guy that loves to go on long walks, hiking and swimming and loves a good game of frisbee. He is very smart and learns commands quickly. He loves to snuggle and sit beside people on the couch.....he loves his human friends. Lincoln would love a home with a fenced in back yard. Lincoln was originally fostered in a home with dogs and did great. HE was then adopted and started to develop some issues with other dogs and he started resource guarding food from the other dogs. Based on this behavior he would best be suited in a home with no other dogs and he may be dog selective so if you want a dog park dog he may not be there one. However, because he is super sweet with people, that may win your heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lincoln, a West Hartford Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
