Delilah's Story...
Delilah is a gorgeous, sweet and sensitive Anatolian mix that was rescued from a kill shelter with her little sister. Since arriving she has proven what a good dog she is....she is great on the leash and comes when called. She loves to nap in the air conditioning and enjoys romping around the yard. She also loves children and is ok with cats. She would love a home where her human is home more often than not. She is selective with her doggie friends. A year old and 75lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a West Hartford Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
