Hey there, I'm Rhubarb. I'm a fun loving little pup that is 8 weeks old and living it up in my foster home. I get along great with my foster sister/sibling and my other large foster brother. I like taking naps most of all and my foster mom loves the sounds of my snores. For being such a young little lady, I'm great at going outside and letting my foster mom know when it's time to take me out. I'm a bit on the clumsy side, but hey all puppies are! I love to romp around and play but I'm also super smitten on giving kisses before a Saturday afternoon movie sesh. Let me know what it was all about when I wake up. I'm ready to start a new exciting chapter in my life with a fun family and I hop that person finds me soon!
All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.
In order to qualify for ALIVE’s program all of the following steps must be met: • You must be at least 24 years of age and be able to provide ALIVE with proof of age. • Any current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and be spayed/neutered. Exceptions to this will only be considered if proof of a medical explanation is provided. • If you currently rent, you must provide a landlord’s phone number and a copy of your executed lease. • All members of the family living in the home where the animal will be placed must be interviewed. • Allow an ALIVE Rescue Memphis representative into your home for a visit to insure that your home is safe for the potential new dog or cat. • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet. • Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog over 4 months of age is $250.00, a dog under 4 months of age is $275.00 and a cat is $150.00. • For dogs being adopted from our Chicago chapter additional transport fee's apply

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you submit an application immediately to start the adoption process. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
