Facts about Moe

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Moe came to us timid and untrusting of humans. He's coming around and he's realizing humans aren't so bad after all! He's learned that he likes being scratched on the head and behind the ears. Would you be willing to teach him all of theother great things humans can do for him?

Moe is FIV+. That doesn't mean a death sentence for him. FIV+ cats can live long healthy lives. For more information on FIV, check out this website: http://www.vet.cornell.edu/FHC/health_information/brochure_fiv.cfm

About Father John's Animal House

Come Meet Our Pets...

Father John's was founded in 1999 and has placed thousands of dogs and cats into loving homes. In 2012, our facility was completely rebuilt with the comfort and care of the animals a top priority. Our shelter features 33 in/outdoor kennel runs and 2 spacious fenced in play yards for the dogs. Our cats have 3 different free roaming rooms to play in. We also have quarantine and isolation rooms for any animal experiencing illness to be treated and recover.

Each of our animals is fully vetted by our volunteer veterinarian and cared for by our vet tech and care staff. Every animal is age appropriately vaccinated, spayed or neutered, administered flea and tick medication regularly. Dogs are tested and treated for heartworm and cats are tested for FelV or FIV.

Our Adoption Process...

Our pre-adoption form is available for download on our website at Fatherjohnsanimalhouse.org. We do make reference check, especially with an adopter's veterinarian. Any animals that are already in the household are required to be up to date on vaccinations. Dogs being adopted into homes where there is already a dog are required to have a meet and greet at the shelter to determine compatibility.
