Elf's Story...
Meet Elf! This 7 year old, 4 pound Yorkie came to us along with his sisters, from an aging owner living in Mexico who could no longer care for them.Elf is a little timid at first but once he warms up, he is incredibly loving and eager for your love and affection. He stays glued to your side and is happiest in your lap. He is obviously incredibly adorable and has the funniest little Dracula teeth that stick out!
Elf is ok with other dogs, cats unknown and due to his tiny stature, he is looking for a home with no small children. Elf is up to date on vaccines, neutered and ready for his forever home. His adoption fee is $350 and if you are interested in adopting Elf, please fill out an online adoption application: https://www.theanimalpad.org/adopt-today-form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elf, a San Diego Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
