BarettaCP's Story...
Location: Hummelstown, PA

Baretta is hoping to find a new home since her mom has come across a financial hardship and has to move to a location that cannot take cats. Baretta is a friendly girl who is content with people or on her own. Her mom says Baretta has an independent personality. She likes to do her own thing and not be tied down with someone holding her. She gets along great with dogs but isn’t too fond of other cats. She can be shy at first and will need some time to warm up in her new home.

Baretta has a beautiful calico coat and is about 2.5 years told. She is spayed and current on vaccines. In the past she has had a clubbed paw and broken tail but has no current medical issues.

If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Baretta, please contact Tiffany at 610-931-0011, 610-990-9687, or tiffanyrule64@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BarettaCP, a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
