My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RED ALERT!!! My name is Big Rudy and I am ready for adoption! I am a very friendly Collie/Great Pyrenees mix. And I would love to be your next family member and playmate for any other canine kids you might have. Let me tell you about me. My beginnings weren’t too great. I was living in a truck yard around San Antonio, Texas. And the truck yard was moving. Some very nice people brought me to the rescue in Houston from the other side of San Antonio. They didn’t want to send me to a shelter. And I’m very thankful they didn’t. Those places are not very good for us. So now life is so much better, but I would love to have my own home and family. I love to run and play a lot. Little dogs, big dogs, it doesn’t matter. I just like to play and always have a smile on my face since life is better than it was. Let’s meet! Go to www.texascollierescue.org and fill out an application so we can get together.

Can’t Wait!!

Big Rudy

Big Rudy is a great dog. He’s friendly, loves to play, and is an affectionate boy. And a really handsome guy with big golden eyes. But, he does need a playmate. He will play with any of the dogs, big or little. And he loves to run. As Rudy told you he was living in a truck yard that was moving. One of the employees did not want to take him to a shelter. Since the San Antonio shelter would put him down if not adopted. Her and her husband drove him to us which says a lot about them since it was not a short drive. You never would have known he had been living outside. Rudy has not had an accident in the house since he's been here. He settled in pretty quick. So he is house-trained and crate-trained and ready for his new home. Go to our website www.texascollierescue .org and fill out an application if you are interested in Big Rudy.
