Aidan, Cuinn, Keely & Maddux are siblings, born 4/3/16.

Maddux - Want playfulness, a purry disposition, and a somewhat mellow thinker, all rolled into one cute and handsome furball? Well, then here I am! I don't try especially hard to be so sweet and loving; it just happens. Well, that is what my foster family says. I am more than happy to just be petted and to be on someone's lap. But I also like my crinkly ball chasing side and would love a young kitty companion to be with. And who can resist my gorgeous golden eyes? I also really like to be brushed and scratched gently all over. That is sure to get my widdle motor running. I like my wet food but do just as well with a tasty dry food. My favorite appears to be chicken of some sort but I'm not too picky of an eater. Just like to be silly and hang around. I even appear to be ok with a somewhat mellow dog whom I can look at (they are funny to watch after all) and will sometimes cuddle with. I'll be ready to meet you if you would like.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddux, a North Highlands Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
