COURTESTY POST! This is NOT a TDR dog.

Meet Nika! Nika is a three-year-old spayed female Jack Russell mix. She’s around 20 pounds and up to date on all vaccinations. In fact she just had a full medical exam! Nika is amazing with other dogs and loves to cuddle with adults. Unfortunately Nika’s family is going through a difficult separation and Nika is feeling the impacts of the stress. While she once happily lived with young children and cats, she has begun to act out on them. The behavior is completely correlated with the stressful events – we all know dogs’ moods are dictated by ours! Her family wants to do what is best for Nika and is hoping to rehome her. They do not feel she will survive the stress of going to a shelter. Nika’s mom says she’s fine with older children and is amazing with dogs. She also loves to cuddle! Nika is located in Wethersfield.
