My story

Bahama Mama is a great cat and it's a mystery why she hasn't been adopted yet. Please don't pass her by! Here is what an FAPL staff member said about her-
Sweet Bahama Mama has gotten a bad rap because she is a little stand offish with strangers. NOT mean at all, just a little unsure... Let me tell you, once she trusts you she LOVES attention. As a staff member I don't get to spend as much time as I'd like with the cats. I spend maybe a few mins a day with her and she trusts and loves me... Imagine if she were in your home and was given the opportunity to settle in and trust.. She is beautiful, playful and will make a wonderful companion! She likes other cats and has bonded with one cat in particular at the shelter, Isabelle. She doesn't like to held or picked up but a lot of great cats don't like that either.
She is the longest resident cat in the shelter, there about a yr and a half, which blows my mind!!! She has seen many feline companions come n go and she still sits there! We have adopted out FIV cats, cats will health issues, a 19yr old cat and even an ANGRY cat (a few actually!) and yet she waits! Stop by friendship today and just take your time with her and she will show you how great she is!

All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed and spayed/neutered and feline leukemia tested. Kittens under a year old are $50 and cats over a year are only $20. All kittens/cats over 3 months old are also micro-chipped.
