Penny’s a handsome pittie girl weighing in about 80lbs. She’s estimated at 2-3 years old. She was pulled from a local shelter in early June to provide companionship to her foster’s other dog. She’s done wonderfully with the other dog, but proven “not so great” with cats!
Because Penny likes to chase anything that runs, she would be best with other dogs her size!. This sweet and good natured girl loves to cuddle and to play with stuffed animals! She plays with other dogs but isn't aggressive with them. She is up to date medically, and will be spayed at no charge by the Arlington Animal Services when their schedule allows.
If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Penny is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
