Miss Molly was dumped at a high kill shelter in Louisiana with a litter of puppies in February 2016. Her pups were adopted but Molly was pretty pitiful at the shelter. She was soon adopted by a senior citizen who loved her very much. Molly’s adopter had to move into assisted living so Molly is now looking for her forever home thanks to the help of The Chi Society. She weighs 19.5# but could stand to lose a pound or two. She's around 3 years old and is a Rat Terrier mix. Molly’s foster mom says, “She is pretty much perfect. Housetrained to a doggie door. Doesn't pull on leash. Loves to be held and cuddled. Can be a typical terrier when first meeting a new dog but warms right up and then loves to wrestle and play. She gets along great with my 3 dogs and entertains herself playing with toys. Belly rubs and car rides are her 2 favorite things. I've been bringing her to work with me and she's a perfect office dog. Quiet and loves meeting new people.” Molly does need a home without cats. She just finished heartworm treatment and is spayed, fully vaccinated and current on everything. Molly has so much love to give and deserves a forever home that will treat her like the queen that she is.

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs. Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog. Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match--
