Poppy's Story...
Poppy is a sweet, calm Lab mix puppy. She is such a happy, affectionate girl, and she loves attending adoption events and having the kids play with her. She loves everybody, and gets along with other dogs. She's still a puppy, but past the teething stage. She has been waiting patiently for her own home, and doesn't understand why nobody wants to give her a chance. If you'd like to meet this wonderful little girl, send an email to bhtbpuppies@yahoo.com.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Ijamsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Ijamsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ijamsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ijamsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue.
