Jade's Story...
Where do we begin to tell you about our beautiful little girl Jade. Should we begin with those wonderful amber eyes? Perhaps we could tell you about her silken white chest and adorable little white toes. After that we’d need to describe how she loves to cuddle and give you “head butts” when you come up close. She’s a shy little one at first until she gets accustomed to your touch, but once that happens you’ll have a hard time saying no to her when she wants to come to you for some snuggling. Please come in and visit with Jade; maybe you can give her the home that she’s wishing for.

The adoption fee for Jade is $150. There is a fee of $40 to place a hold on her which will be deducted from the final adoption fee. If you're interested in adopting any of our kitties please stop by our Adoption Center and fill out an application. You may also fill out an application for adoption electronically and submit it to us for processing. Simply send us an email at adoptions@palspeabody.com and we will send you an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jade, a Salem Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Salem, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
