Noah's Story...

Noah, a handsome 6-month old tabby, was found with his brothers behind a gas station at about 10 weeks old.  Their mama was in the process of moving the litter to a wooded area, but luckily our rescuer was able to bring them to PALS.  The litter has been in foster care being socialized, but Noah is still shy and scared, so a quiet home would be best.

Noah has been neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and is up-to-date with shots.  The adoption fee is $175.

If you're interested in adopting any of our kitties please stop by our Adoption Center and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noah, a Salem Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Salem, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
