Berlioz's Story...
If you are interested in meeting Berlioz, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.html

Berlioz, born approximately 4/15/16, is a sweet-faced, friendly, orange kitten. Berlioz is the most loving kitten, she'll give you one look with her innocent, little face and you will fall in love. She's very playful and active with her siblings and other kittens, but when it's time to settle down, she is there waiting at your side for attention. She purrs and waits, patiently for your approval. She loves interaction with other kittens and needs to have a playmate. She has had little exposure to dogs, but she seems very adaptable to new friends, with the appropriate introduction.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berlioz, a North Highlands Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
