Kennel #31's Story...
Contacted by original owner who had to rehome him due to awful circumstances. Thought he went to a good home.... Info they gave :

" i had him from birth. he's a pure bred white gs. HIs ears never stood up.He loves kids. He doesn't beg for food if you're eating, just say im eating he will go lay down. He can't be with cats or squirrels and anything outside. He's not good with male dogs. He barks when someone knocks on the door. He gives paw, sits, lays down. He knows if u say watch them he's at full attention. Do your job - same thing. He plays ball, stick - knows the command drop it. He listens to the snap of your fingers. He's a good boy, not perfect, but almost."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kennel #31, a Elyria German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Elyria, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
