Eddie's Story...
This boy is very well behaved! His markings make him super handsome! He's weighing only 50 lbs, so he'll fit in anywhere! Very confident sweet guy even in a very busy kill shelter! We pulled him and he was in a family for 2 months but sadly his family has fallen apart, with this Eddie found himself homeless again! This sweet guy is good to everybody both 2 legged and 4! He is a year old. In CT and ready for his new home. He seems to love the hose so maybe he will love to swim. Much more handsome in person! Come and meet him. Please go to our website and complete and application www.addicuslegacy.org and also see our available dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eddie, a West Hartford German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
