Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper has arrived into Maine and is doing amazing. She spent her first weekend with two dogs and a pre-teen child and was terrific with everyone. She does well on leash and listens very well. She is a lovely sweet girl!
Right now she is living with two small dogs, cats, and no children but she sees them in the neighborhood. She can be a little nervous at first meeting new people but does especially well when another dog is present. We will only consider adopting Pepper into a family with at least one other dog.
Pepper is two years old and weighs 52 lbs. She was saved by our southern partner rescuers after she wound up in a shelter. She appears to be a lab mix but maybe there is some Weimaraner or another breed in there with that shimmery coat.
Pepper is super smart and learning new things every day. Contact us if you are interested in this pretty lady!

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
