2yr. Old (7/2/2016) bundle of energy. She is a Poodle/Maltese mix., a 20 lb apricot colored fluff ball. She is spay, microchipped and up to date on shots.
Lady was found in a junk yard living under a car with 2 other dogs. Unfortunately one was hit by a car & killed. Her Border Collie companion was adopted by the man who found them so, Lady came to us. Yes, she is definitely not our type of dog, but what’s a rescue to do?
Lady can hang with the big dogs, but really prefers to be her person’s princess. While she gets along with other dogs, she does have some resource guarding issues.
She can be left alone but obviously had been someone's constant companion.
She is housebroken and is a good traveling companion. She may dart after a cat, but once it turns around she realizes it is bigger than her and the game is over. She needs to be on a leash when not in a fenced yard as she loves to run and can 'become deaf' when being called to come back. She needs a good sized fence as she is quite an accomplished jumper.
She will need regular grooming as she has the long hair of a Poodle and the silky hair of a Maltese.
She will make anyone a wonderful friend and companion.
