UPDATE 7/15/16: Lamar has really come around in his foster home. He has learned that kids and people are loving and won't hurt him. He is even initiating play with the resident dog now. He will be getting his HW treatment soon (within a couple weeks-as soon as the medicine comes in) and then will have to be kept quiet for 4-6 weeks. He is a very sweet dog who was dealt a bad hand and is not learning what a good life is like!

7/2/16: Lamar is a young boy who is HW positive. He was sent to another rescue who never treated him so now he is here with me to get the treatment he needs. He apparently didn't have a very good experience while he was with the other rescue and when he came back to his original rescuer, he had changed from when his rescuer found him. He is slowly getting back to his silly self with lots of loving. He loves people and kids, is ok with other dogs, but has just started to feel comfortable around his foster brother who loves everyone. He has already started on the HW treatment protocol and will be getting his shots soon. If you are interested in this sweet boy, submit an application at www.hubbardshounds.com. NO PHONE CALLS!

Adoption donation is $250

About Hubbards Hounds Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The rescue was started in 2008 and we are dedicated to providing shelter dogs, puppy mill dogs, and owner turn-ins a second chance at a good life. Director Susan Hubbard will do everything possible to ensure the care of a dog. I own 3 rescue dogs and a rescued cat, all adopted from rescues or shelters. Every dog is important and the right home is out there for all of them! "Saving one dog at a time"

Come Meet Our Pets...

We don't have a kennel, meeting a dog can be arranged by appointment once an application has been submitted and approved.

Our Adoption Process...

This rescue group does have a contract and donation requirement to adopt a dog. This helps us to ensure the dogs safety for the remainder of his/her life and to continue to rescue dogs in need to rehome them. An applicaton must be filled out on our website www.hubbardshounds.com, references checked, an interview done and a home visit check.
