Ellie's Story...
Ellie is a long haired chihuahua that weighs 8 lbs and is 9 or 10 years old. She has long legs and a long body. She was rescued from a hoarding situation, someone that had too many dogs and was not caring for them properly. They were then seized and brought to the shelter.

She just started to play with a few toys for a few minutes, but prefers to just chill and snuggle in your lap. She is sweet and mellow, just wants to chill and is fine with other dogs. Ellie will come up for love and attention, then go off on her own, so she is a bit independent at times.

If you're looking for a mellow pup that is not a barker or needy, she would be perfect. She is house trained, spayed, micro chipped and up-to-date on shots.

If you are interested in Ellie, please complete the on-line application as she does not always attend the weekly adoption event on Saturdays at PETCO.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Studio City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
