Maximus's Story...
OMD Did you see his EARS!! How can you not love Max who is a rambunctious 6 month old puppy that loves everyone. Very excitable and doesn't know his size, but is learning quick. If you are looking for a young pup that has lots of energy, enjoys his training and wants to be a part of a family, he is your guy. Plays well with his doggie siblings, did well around our 15 month old niece, and LOVES to play ball!! He is fully housebroken, although pees a little if excited when people come over, he is crate trained and dog door trained. Learning his doggy manners and how to play nice, but learning quick. His paperwork says he is a German Shepard mix, but I believe he is more of a Malinos than Shepard, either way he is FULL of cuteness. Send an application to www.hubbardshounds.com if you are interested in this big boy! He is about 50 lbs now. He is fully vetted and ready for adoption! His training WILL need to be continued!

Adoption donation is $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maximus, a Homer German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Homer, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
