Tater Tot's Story...
**Tater Tot is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $500, which covers his flight to his new family, a travel kennel and his vetting.**

Tater Tot and his siblings were pulled from the local kill shelter in Houston. They were so tiny and there was no way we could leave them there. We had an amazing foster family offer to take them in so they get lots of attention and are great with other dogs.

He is the tiniest bundle of puppy energy! He is the boldest in his litter and always ready to play. He weighs in at a solid 3 pounds at 9 weeks of age(as of June 28th). He enjoys all things puppy…PLAY, sleep, toys that squeak, sleep, play, sleep, eat, and SLEEP! He is healthy, happy, and ready for his very own family!

**Tater Tot will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is doing very well in his foster home. He is ready to find his family to complete his transformation. If our sweet boy sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information. His adoption fee is $500 to help cover the cost of his airline flight and his travel crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tater Tot, a Manchester Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Manchester, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Manchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
