PMWF (Pit-Mix White Female) looking for a forever HF (Human Family) to love, learn and play fetch with. Your wish is my command, and I follow it very well. I am approx. 4 years young, love to find that sunny spot in your house to sunbathe, and am a GEM on car rides….if you let me put my head out the window I will be putty in your paws, BOL (bark out loud).

I love to dine on salmon and sweet potato, get rubdowns with coconut oil, and go on walks or runs. I really love going for walks: Short walks, long walks….have leash will travel!! I know where to do my “business” and am good when crated, though I don’t need to be crated all the time because I mind my manners.

I am a happy girl and play well with other similar animals but seem to overdo it a bit with smaller animals, so they may not be the ideal family members for me. In my current situation (foster home), I live with 5 adult dogs and 9 puppies so I am very socialized to them, I just need to be taught to play nicer with the smaller ones.

Could you be looking for me? Because I know I am looking for you. If interested, you can reach me at toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/. BAYL (bark at you later) ~Kira

Our Adoption Process...

All of our dogs are in foster homes so once you decide on which dog you would like to meet and/or adopt, complete and submit an adoption application, which can be found at www.toledospetbullproject.com/adoption-info/ (please copy and paste into your browser).

The application will be reviewed; if the applicant meets our adoption criteria, the application will be passed on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog. A home visit is required for all of our adoptions. If you are out of our area, we will make arrangements with a rescue group in your area.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
$200 for dog/puppies under 1 year
$125 for dogs over 1 year
$75 for senior dogs (depends on breed)
For Puppies 4 months old and younger: Adopter agrees to pay a $50 training retainer in addition to the adoption fee. The $50 training retainer will be refunded to adopter after completing a dog training class and showing proof of certificate
