Facts about Batman

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
DOB May 5, 2010.

Batman has a very curious mind and loves to be apart of any action happening in the home. He is gentle and loving to the point where he will be your little shadow. He loves to be brushed and groomed with affection, and in return will cuddle up close to you. He loves to be chased and vice versa. A bit like a Cat and Mouse game. He does not like to be left alone for long periods of time, and he needs to be in a single pet home where he can shine and have all your affection! Adopt your very own little superhero today!

About Our Rescue Group...

***ALL cats over 8 months of age have a reduced adoption fee of $100 for the month of August 2016!!***

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
