My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FAITH is a 1.5 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 41 pounds. Faith is very sweet, when I first met her she was a little scared. I sat down and let her come up to me and sniff away, she decided maybe I wasn't so bad She likes to be petted am have her belly rubbed. She needs a home with another dog. Think she will be fine with anyone as long as they go a little slow when they meet her. Good with other dogs has been out with other Lab Rescue pups at the kennel. No cat history, met the kennel cat and did not show any interest. Knows sit, come. Pulls some on lead better with an Easy Walk Harness. Most likely house trained, waits until she goes outside to go. Faith was an owner turn in as they had to move. She had been living in a kennel with her mother and 3 other pups who have been adopted. She is shy until she gets to know you. Very comfortable with another dog. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update: Faith is a bundle of joy and good energy. She has adapted well to a home environment. She plays very well with our other lab and likes to play chase in the backyard. We have worked hard to house train Faith and she is about 98 percent there and has learned to notify us when she needs to go outside to go. Faith has a very good appetite - typical of a lab, and enjoys any type of treat that we have given her. We continue to teach her commands and she knows "sit" and "down" now. She is improving on walks, but could benefit from a training session or two for some general leash manners. Faith's foster family will certainly miss her when she's adopted. She has given a boost of energy to the resident bonded lab pair.

Update: Faith is really coming out of her shell. She is now house trained and knows the command Sit. She is a very playful girl and will need a playful canine sibling to run around the fenced yard in. Her fosters report that she is very entertaining and she keeps them laughing

Update: Faith is a tiny precious angel! She's settling in nicely to her foster home and is doing great. She was a little shy at first, but she has warmed up nicely after only a day. Her favorite places to relax are under the coffee table and in her crate (she slept in it through the night with no issues). Faith has a healthy appetite and loves treats. She is very playful, and keeps busy playing with toys and her tennis ball. She loves to be outdoors, and is really great with other dogs. She has done great with the guests that have visited in her foster home. She is looking for patient and loving parents, and someone to help her learn basic commands, but she's eager to learn! She has a good amount energy and is using a harness when on walks because she likes to lead and sniff everything!
